Getting started with training

Your personalized program is created after an initial consultation to determine your needs and goals, and will serve as a plan to achieve those goals. The program is based on the latest research and tailored to your individual needs and goals.

Consultation

The first step towards creating a program is a free consultation of 30 minutes to an hour, where the trainer and client have an open discussion. This initial meeting is an opportunity for the trainer to understand the client’s goals, motivations, and challenges. During the consultation, the trainer also explores the client’s nutrition, sleep, and stress management. Together, they discuss the benefits of the program, set realistic expectations, and explore scheduling preferences.

Scheduling

The next step is to create a training schedule. The trainer also explains the frequency of training sessions and pricing structure, which is based on session quantity and duration.

While a three-month commitment is encouraged to ensure tangible results, the timing is flexible to accommodate individual needs. Once the consultation is complete, training begins. Each program is customized to the individual, considering their goals, preferences, and any limitations.

Training

Clients typically meet with their trainer twice a week for 30/45-minute to 1-hour sessions. However, this frequency can be adjusted based on your specific needs and goals. Exercises can also be modified to enhance sports performance.Personal training sessions can be conducted virtually or in person at Empowered Fitness in Arlington Center, or in your home.
